Tatty Bumpkin will take your child and their friends on a magical adventure. You and your child can choose the story or theme which involves lots of movement, music,  animals, stories, puppets, dance, games and fun with a parachute, lots of attention on the birthday child. We finish with a wind-down and specially-created stickers.

Parties are suitable for children from 2-6 years and around 10-20 children, depending on their age.

The parties can be themed so your child really enjoys them - ideas include (but not limited to, do ask as we're very flexible!):

• Pirates and Princesses: surfing pirates, golden dragon poo, lazy princesses...
  
• The Zoo: Tatty finds herself at Bristol Zoo at midnight and how she helped the baby lion to find his noise... This is a noisy one!
  
• Space: Tatty flies to space in a rocket, does some exploring and brings home a star...
  
• The Farm: Tatty spends some quality time at Wobble Farm, hanging out with the farm animals and making some very special soup or digging up a gigantic vegetable...
• Trains: The story of Tatty and the magic train ride...
• Jungle: Tatty visits the jungle and meets a very nervous monkey who thinks the sky is falling on his head...
  
• Fairies: Tatty helps to rescue a cake baker from the fairies...
• Tatty is just as likely to join a circus, find herself exploring a toy shop after hours, flying round the world on a magic carpet visiting the seven wonders or meeting dragons and wizards...
  
• Dr Who, Bob the Builder, Fifi and the Flowertots, Winnie the Pooh and other special characters can all be accommodated... do enquire
  

It works best with around ten to twenty or so children (depending on the space available and age of children) and can be adapted to suit girls or boys from 2 to 6 years. It actually works well with mixed ages so don't worry if you've got younger siblings - they really love it!

You only need enough space for the children to able to move around a bit, so it's possible to run the sessions in your own home or other suitable venue. Please discuss space and numbers of children with me.

Tatty Bumpkin will be setting off on adventures at the following festivals: Glastonbury Festival, Shambala, Sunrise Celebration, the Ragged Hedge Fair, Green Man and more... She will also be gadding about Centre Parks, Longleat from April so check out the sessions if you find yourself in the forest...

I am and Advanced Teacher, police checked, fully trained and insured and accredited by CACHE (Children's Council for Awards in Childcare and Education). My husband, Nigel, runs sessions at the nursery school and after school club where he works at and is always up for a boyish adventure...

The sessions have received an award for Best Physical Activity in the national What's On For Little Ones and Organix awards. Tatty Bumpkin is a member of the Preschool Learning Alliance.
